Cancellations and Refunds

Customer Cancellation: As a general rule, you shall not be entitled to cancel your order once placed. You may choose to cancel your order only within one-minute of the order being placed by you. However, subject to your previous cancellation history, Mera Local Store reserves the right to deny any refund to you according to a cancellation initiated by you even if the same is within one-minute.

 

If you cancel your order after one minute of placing it, Mera Local Store shall have a right to charge you 100% of the order amount as the cancellation fee, with a right to either not to refund the order value in case your order is prepaid or recover from your subsequent order in case your order is postpaid, to compensate our vendor and delivery partners

 

Non-Customer Cancellation: Mera Local Store reserves the right to charge you a cancellation fee for the orders constrained to be cancelled by Mera Local Store for reasons not attributable to Mera Local Store, including but not limited to:

 

In the event, if the address provided by you is either wrong or falls outside the delivery zone;

 

Failure to contact you by phone or email at the time of delivering the order booking;

 

Failure to deliver your order due to lack of information, direction or authorization from you at the time of delivery; or

 

Unavailability of all the items ordered by you at the time of booking the order; or

 

Unavailability of all the items ordered by you at the time of booking the order. However, in the unlikely event of an item on your order being unavailable, Mera Local Store will contact you on the phone number provided to us at the time of placing the order and inform you of such unavailability. In such an event you can either replace the item with another similar item available, request a coupon or voucher of same monetary value that can be redeemed on your next purchase or request a refund for the unavailable item or you will be entitled to cancel the entire order and shall be entitled to a refund to an amount up to 100% of the order value Please allow up to 15 working days for your refund to be processed.

 

In case of cancellations for the reasons attributable to Mera Local Store or the Vendor, Mera Local Store shall not charge you any cancellation fee.

 

Refunds: You may be entitled to a refund up to 100% of the order value if Mera Local Store Delivery Partner fails to deliver the order to you due to causes attributable to Mera Local Store. However, such refunds will be assessed on a case to case basis by Mera Local Store. Note: We do not penalize the Delivery Partner for the delay.

 

In case of orders where packaging is either tampered or damaged at the time of delivery; wrong order being delivered; or items missing from your order at the time of delivery – we will issue refund provided the same is communicated to Mera Local Store Customer Care before the order is marked delivered.

 

Our decision on refunds shall be final and binding.

 

All refund amounts shall be credited to your account as may be stipulated as per the payment mechanism of your choice. Please allow up to 15 working days for your refund to be processed.

 

Cancellation policy for Mera Local Store Vendors: The orders placed by the User using the Platform are non-cancellable and non-refundable except if a refund is requested under the following conditions –

 

If the Vendor cancels the order due to reasons not attributable to User, including but not limited to the store is closed, non-availability of items, a store cannot service online orders at the moment, the store is overcrowded, etc.

 

If Mera Local Store cancels the order due to reasons not attributable to User, including but not limited to non-availability of Delivery Partners, etc.

 

Mera Local Store reserves the right to look into the cancellation request of the User and determine if such cancelation request falls under the conditions mentioned above. If Mera Local Store is satisfied that the request satisfies any of the aforesaid conditions, Mera Local Store shall process the cancellation request and refund to the User.
